Cookbook Fundraiser

  • AABA is putting together a cookbook to be sold as a fundraiser to enable AABA to continue to provide its many services to the community and to enable us to expand those services.

  • You can help us in this project by providing us with your recipes to put into the book.

Please e-mail recipes to our administrative assistant, Laura: laura@akattachment.org

  • We ask that people not send copyrighten recipes from published cookbooks.

AABA has a new logo that we are currently displaying next to our old logo.

FASD and Attachment Disorder- May 18, 2015

Will learn about:

  • Common characteristics
  • Things that work if a child is experiencing both
  • Does one make the other worse

 

Attachment Styles- June 15, 2015

Will learn about:

•         What is attachment and why do we care?
•         How is it developed as a child?
•         What types of attachment style do you have?
•         What kind of attachment does your child have?
•         Can we change this? 

                                  

Trauma and the Brain- August 17, 2015
9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Will learn about:

  • How trauma affects the brain
  • What parts of the brain are responsible for what?
  • How can we work with these effects?

 

Activating Your Mind- November 16, 2015
9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Will learn about:

  • Skills to increase your connections
  • Specific skills for attachment disorders
  • How can we work together with our children without TV and video games?
